A rhymed poet or lyricist is one who writes rhymed poetry,
An accepted poet is anyone known by his poetry.
God gives the gift to write lyric poetry or rhyme
But it takes another gift to discover it in time.


A poet is the near mad out spoken wit
One who better than anybody else can say it.
The person who can people or places name
And just as easily put to shame.


A poet as the singer is also the man,
Who over beautiful women has a command.
For though much poetry is written by women,
Most of the great poets and songwriters are men.


A poet is a writer, preacher, and a singer
For a poem ………………………
A sermon too strong to preach,
Or the ……………………….


Many poets possess the nature of a young child,
Being………………………………………….
Depression, debts, dungeons, drugs, and drink,
Frequently…………………………………..


What the politicians and clergyman will not say,
The songwriters…………………………………...
For poets have made more wars or revolutions than kings
But that's just…………………………………………


Poets sometimes sell their works in the taverns or street.
Making……………………………………
Or to any merchants or singers they can find
Who with ………………………………...


A poet's price for his lyrics or poetry
Is a……………………………..
Or a kiss from a beautiful woman
Or her love ………………………
